Love Your Body Day was an alternative Valentine’s Day put on by the Women’s Centre for the first time in 2008. Students got the chance to write Valentine cards to their bodies instead of their sweetheart, in celebration of the human body and the various shapes and sizes we all come in. Students were encouraged to write to:
1) The body parts they love;
2) The body parts they have learned to love;
3) The body parts they still have difficulty loving.
