In collaboration with the Women’s Centre, the International Women’s Week Committee organizes a week-long celebration of women every year during the second week of March! Past components of this week have included a Clothesline Project, a film screening of the documentary film "Cut", a drum circle, a presentation of arpilleras in the Concourse, many different speakers, a Women’s Networking Dinner, an activism fair, a Women’s Studies student pub night, and more!
Every year, new ideas are proposed to celebrate women in our community and in general, so keep an eye out for IWW in 2009!
