If you sit in the 24 hour Lounge, just outside the Dean of Students’ office, you’ll soon see many students at Laurier as they stop in to the Dean’s office to say hello, talk about a new project, get their posters stamped, or receive help to get a problem solved.  The Dean of Students, Leanne Holland Brown, and her staff are kept busy working to ensure that the quality of student life and the whole university learning experience contributes to the personal and intellectual growth of Laurier students.  In other words, they keep track of policies and regulations to make sure they are fair to students; they develop and deliver programs that enhance learning outside the classroom; they listen to what students say about their living and learning experiences at Laurier, and respond to requests for help in dealing with lots of different problems.  Visit Cathie for more information about the Poster Policy.
