Wilfrid Laurier University has 17 residence buildings. Approximately 1,179 students are housed on campus, and 1,030 are housed immediately adjacent to campus. Of this total number, 630 students are in apartment-style residences, and 1,579 are in traditional dormitories. Each of the residences offers a unique experience for incoming students.
Both the dormitory- and apartment-style residences offer study lounges, coin-operated laundry facilities, and a central lounge/games room to enhance the student’s study and leisure time. Each student is also provided with mail delivery five days per week.
There are two women’s residences, one men’s residence, and thirteen co-ed residences at Laurier. There is limited space for Senior students, Graduate students, and International Exchange students.
Bedrooms assigned to students are fully furnished. Students are responsible for the care and maintenance of their rooms. Each building is managed by a Residence Life Area Co-ordinator and a team of residence "Dons" (residence assistants).
