Wilfrid Laurier University has 17 residence buildings, which house approximately 3,182 single men and women. Of this total number, 3,058 beds are reserved for incoming undergraduate first-year students. A limited number of beds are made available for Senior students, Graduate students, and International Exchange students.
The residence buildings are comprised of both dormitory-style accommodations as well as apartment-style accommodations. Each of the residences offers a unique experience for incoming students.
There are 1,545 beds available in the apartment-style accommodations (in single and double rooms) and 1,637 beds available in the dormitory-style accommodations (in single and double rooms).
Bedrooms assigned to students are fully furnished. Students are responsible for the care and maintenance of their rooms. Each building is managed by a Residence Life Area Co-ordinator and a team of residence "Dons" (residence assistants).
