Applying to Residence

Residence accommodations at Wilfrid Laurier University are provided for first-year students, senior students, graduate students and exchange students. Each of these component parts of the residence community have unique application procedures for residence admission. While most residence applications are received for the eight-month academic year beginning in September, the Residential Services Office does accept applications from interested students for the winter semester beginning in January and for the summer semester beginning in May.

Winter Term Residence Admissions

Depending on room availability, students of all kinds (graduate and undergraduate) may apply for residence accommodation during the winter term beginning in January 2012. Room assignments are completed in December and new residents are expected to move into residence during the Holiday break. Vacancies may occur in any of the residence buildings.

Interested students may contact the Residential Services Office for more information. Residence Applications may be found on the Residential Services website.

Summer Term Residence Admissions

During the summer term, a limited number of single rooms in an apartment-style residence building are used for summer student accommodations. Application forms, information and costs are all available from the Residential Services Office.
