Taking place on the Laurier Waterloo campus, this one-day leadership conference aims to support and enhance the culture of student leadership engagement; provide meaningful and quality leadership training and development to students; and strengthen the identity of a “Laurier Leader.”

This year’s Summit will mark the largest ever collaboration amongst various campus partners to provide a meaningful and educationally rich leadership training and development opportunity to students. Students representing Athletics & Recreation, Residence Life, the Diversity & Equity Office, the Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union, Student Leadership Centre and Laurier Student Alumni will come together to participate in an integrated training opportunity on a scale never before seen at Laurier. Over 450 of Laurier’s top student leaders are expected to participate at this year’s Summit. All sessions, keynotes, activities and materials aim to develop skills and competencies; reinforce behaviours and traits; and introduce concepts and theories that help students recognize the importance that leadership development has on their future success.
