Facilities for laboratory testing (blood test) and ECG can be done at Lifelabs located at 65 University Ave East, Waterloo. X-rays or ultrasounds can be done at the same location by True North Imaging. Lifelabs and True North are located 2 blocks east of WLU on University Ave in the University Square Plaza (behind Tim Horton’s).
In order for the test to be done you must have a requisition from a doctor.
Please remember to bring your Health Card or UHIP card.
Results are sent to the ordering physician.

Hours of operation for True North Imagining:
To book an appointment for x-ray or ultrasound call 746-3457 and give health coverage number.
Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Results of blood work ordered by a WLU physician can be obtained by calling the information nurse at 884-0710 ext. 2354 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
