Transition 101 Program for 1st Year Students

Orientation to Accessible Learning

Transition 101 offers a full-day workshop for incoming first-year students with disabilities to orient them to the staff, supports and services available through the Accessible Learning Centre (ALC). Offered in conjunction with the campus-wide WLU Headstart program, it acquaints participants with the Centre and its services, and will ultimately permit them to start term with their approved accommodation plan as well as a knowledge of the Centre processes. A parent information session will take place concurrently with the student program, to address questions and concerns of the parents involved in the transition to post-secondary education.

Transition 101 dates:

Thursday August 25

Friday August 26

Registration for Transition 101 is made by contacting accessible_learning@wlu.ca
