Aboriginal Academic Success

This Program offers:
      -Assistance regarding academic skills in a culturally sensitive manner.
      -Learning Circles, individual learning consultations and comprehensive study skill workshops
      -A comfortable and quiet study space

The purpose of this program is to provide Aboriginal students with academic assistance regarding learning strategies and study skills in a culturally sensitive manner and in a safe and comfortable environment so that they can achieve their full academic potential. The program services range from, Learning Circles, individual learning consultations and learning strategies and study skills workshops.

Learning Circles

Learning Circles are sessions where students Learn academic skills to achieve student success through guided conversation with a Learning Strategist on topics such as time management, learning styles, reading textbooks, preparing for exams, research strategies and much more.
