Internship Position: Aboriginal Education Research Assistant

FOR SUMMER 2012 

Qualities we are looking for: 

  •  A current Wilfrid Laurier University student
  • Demonstrated familiarity, understanding and/or experience with Laurier’s Aboriginal Student Centre(s) and its services
  •  A noted interest in Aboriginal culture, way of life and education
  • Articulate and personable, with the ability to interact with people from varying backgrounds with ease
  •  Attention-to-detail oriented and punctual
  • A self-starter who is able to take initiative and meet set deadlines

The total time requirements of the project will be 30 hours. If any additional time is required, then compensation and timelines will be adjusted accordingly                                                                                             

Compensation:  Upon completion of the Aboriginal Education Research Assistant’s components of the strategic report, they will be compensated with a $1000 bursary.
