Have a Heart for First Nations Children is a campaign meant to give First Nations children the chance to grow up safely at home, get a good education, be healthy, and be proud of their culture. This campaign will be running from Tuesday, February 7 until Tuesday, February 14th. There will be a table set up in the concourse this Thursday, February 9th from 10 am till 2 pm, and anyone has the chance to sign a pre-written letter to the local MP urging for change to give First Nations Children the same opportunities as other Canadians. If you can’t make it out for those days, you can come to the Aboriginal Student Centre anytime this week and sign a letter as well, or submit your own hand written letter to the local MP.
